Year 1 (First Model)

These are some images from my first year, we where given the task of building a model from a set of inadequate plans. We had to first rescale and redraw the plans from research and then model the result.

The building I was given is: The Horiuchi House by Tadao Ando.
It is one of his lesser known works, there are very few photographs of it, and even less information about the plans. This made accurate modeling quite a challenge.
This project really opened me to the works of Ando, he is now one of my go-to architects for inspiration.
